SANE HAIDARA
PRESIDENT
Experienced entrepreneur, graduated with a master’s in Public Administration from the University of South Florida and a bachelor’s of Science in Public Policy and Administration from St. Petersburg College. Prior to founding Timbuktu Hope, Mr. Haidara was a businessowner known as Entreprise Malienne de Prestation de Services.
As a student at St. Petersburg College, Mr. Haidara proposed a pilot scheme in his capstone project that would provide breakfast, lunch, and a take home meal to Timbuktu schoolchildren in order to evaluate the impact of proper nutrition for attendance, academic achievement, and retention in the education system. In addition, Mr. Haidara's interested in public service and how he can help Mali to create strong institutions.
Mr. Haidara was the recipient of numerous awards as a student:
Jamil Jreisat Scholarship Award - USF School of Public Affairs MPA Program 2018.
Dr. Theodore J. Mazzu Scholar of the Year Award - St. Petersburg College 2016.

Outstanding Delegation Award at the National Model United Nations - New York City 2016.

Mr. Haidara enjoys reading philosophy, literature and science fiction books.
